We had to create and implement a brand to instil the ‘non-emergency’ number 101 in the minds of the public as securely as the number 999. The key was to make the branding information based. As a result the new number always appears with a checklist of issues that are suitable for 101 calls.
The website is supported by the same information-driven approach and is designed to be fully accessible to all audiences, including information in 13 languages to direct users to the language line which is available 24 / 7.
