THE GAMBLING COMMISSION

The Gambling Commission was established in October 2005, taking over from The Gaming Board for Great Britain in regulating casinos, bingo, gaming machines and lotteries. From 2007 it will also have responsibility for the regulation of betting and remote gambling, as well as helping to protect children and vulnerable people.

We were commissioned to create a new brand that clearly signalled responsibility for regulating and policing gambling, but would still be capable of engaging in an open and accessible way with the public, reassuring them that their interests were being looked after.
