Cadbury recently demerged from Cadbury Schweppes to become the world’s biggest confectionery company. We helped them protect their corporate image and brand positioning during this process with world-class communications that focused on their much-loved brands.
We designed and produced a suite of communications materials for Cadbury immediately after the demerger, reflecting a new and focused company. They included a guide to the process, a corporate brochure and a global employee communications leaflet. It was vital to set a tone in these tools that built upon Cadbury’s values and positioning, developing and evolving the brand language.
Using the communications theme of Brands people love, we provided a vibrant look and feel across all the items produced, focusing on their many famous brands. The materials maintain the energy and innovation they are known for, including a range of imagery that connects the reader to Cadbury’s best-known products.
In addition we produced an employee communications document, a Purpose & Values booklet. This brought the corporate brand to life for employees, clearly explaining Cadbury’s core purpose and culture. It gives details of business priorities, values and leadership imperative. The booklet was designed with a vibrant colour palette and photography of employees from around the world. We project managed and produced 17 different language versions of the Purpose & Values document, producing 35,000 in all.
We supported these publications with a range of promotional materials, including folders, mugs, posters and banners, with a consistent and vibrant look and feel across all materials.
During the demerger we designed a guide to the demerger to help shareholders understand the process, making sure that their confidence in Cadbury was not affected.
We had worked with Cadbury Schweppes on its annual reports and reviews in print and online, and continue to do so with the new organisation.
