Client: Cadbury
Online annual report

Cadbury recently demerged from Cadbury Schweppes to become the world’s biggest confectionery company. We helped them protect their corporate image and brand positioning during this process with world-class communications that focused on their much-loved brands.
Before the demerger we worked with Cadbury Schweppes on its stakeholder communications. In 2006 we were commissioned to improve the company’s communication with its shareholders through its annual report.
We worked with the CEO and Financial Director to extract the key messages for that year, which we used to develop a communications theme, A passion for winning, for a full suite of documents, including the online report.
Online, we created an HTML version of the report that improved interactivity and let shareholders access the exact information they needed.
Following research into shareholder reading behaviour we also created a video a ‘three-minute read’ condensing the key messages of the report into an engaging format that brings it to life. We highlighted five core messages in the video and used a mixture of product, brand and people photography taken in global locations, creating a dynamic visual language to bring the stories to life.
The work

We were commissioned to create a brand identity for the Cadbury Cocoa Partnership, a major corporate responsibility initiative.

We designed and produced a suite of communications materials for Cadbury immediately after the demerger, reflecting a new and focused company.
