35 to merge with Conran
Design Group
17 September 2008
35 Communications have announced that it will merge management teams with Conran Design Group to ensure continual improvement of the service it can offer to clients.
In a rare move, both brands will be retained and the respective services will, for the most part, remain unchanged.
35 plan to use the Conran brand to promote its services in Europe, and to expand its burgeoning digital offer into some leading consumer corporations. It will also provide 35 with in-house 3D design expertise that will complement the branding services for appropriate clients.
Director of 35 Communications, Nigel Forsyth says, “This is a truly equal partnership, fuelled by a mutual desire for growth. And because our services complement each other rather than overlap, our offer will be stronger and we will be more stable.”
“There will be no staff redundancies,” he adds. “Rather, we will be looking to strengthen both teams with new staff.”
Conran Design Group will be moving into 35’s studio in Camden next month.
