Tesco launch new
corporate website

Tesco have recently launched a new corporate website designed by 35 Communications.
The new site (www.tescoplc.com) is designed to improve communications with a variety of audience groups and offer an online experience that strongly reflects the Tesco brand.
An innovative ‘fast find’ function allows visitors to select information around core themes, relevant to their interests. Coupled with simple, effective design principles 35 have ensured that visitors can easily find the information they need.
To communicate the breadth of Tesco’s activity around the world, 35 also designed and built a Flash-enabled interactive map within the site. As well as important facts and figures on the company’s international operations, the map includes local stories brought to life through images and video.
Joe McLewin, digital consultant at 35, says, “Working with Tesco on the redevelopment of their corporate site was an enjoyable challenge. We think we’ve created a digital experience that really reflects the Tesco brand and brings it to life for those audiences who may be more than just customers.”
